Thoughts on Space: Creating it, Holding it, and Taking It Up

I’m published!

I had the opportunity of contributing a written piece for Group Circle, the American Group Psychotherapy Association quarterly newsletter.

I reflect on how challenging it was for me to find my voice as an Asian American adolescent, and how my experience and ongoing (un)learning continue to inform my work today. Incidentally, writing this piece turned out to be yet another important practice in taking up space.

I’m honored to share the page with Helen Kim, PhD, whom I had the pleasure of meeting at Lifeforce Conference in 2019, and to see my words collected alongside the wisdom and work of other strong women in this field.
