Demi Alex is an artist, dancer, relationship anarchist, former escort, and shapeshifting wanderer; a light-skinned queer and agender second-generation Taiwanese human; and a disabled, chronically ill, neurodivergent Mad person with multiple systems and complex trauma.

He cultivates a supportive space to organize, heal, and experiment, valuing process, relationships and connections, agency and autonomy, lived experience, and creativity. Their work centers QTBIPOC and neurodivergent communities, artists and creatives, disability and chronic illness, gender identity and queerness, non-normative relationships, family of origin work, complex trauma, and self and identity exploration.

Their approach includes Internal Family Systems, narrative therapy, and humanistic, relational, somatic-informed, and integrative approaches. They are politically grounded in many anti-oppressive, abolitionist, intersectional, and healing and disability justice lenses.

Image description: Demi faces the camera with a thoughtful expression, his skin illuminated by a soft sunlit glow. He has a shaved head with a thin cover of black hair, and he’s wearing a black and white printed top, a silver necklace, and white hand-shaped dangle earrings. Behind him are gently rolling ocean waves and grey clouds on the horizon.
